Sodium silicate- improving anti-air slake capacity

About sodium silicate′s capacity in improving anti—slake aspect: after sodium silicate solution brush and moisturize the relevant materials, sodium silicate can permeate the gap and hole. Solid silic gel can plug the woll stoma channel, then enhance the material′s density and intensity, then reach to the goal of improving anti—air slake capacity. But sodium silicate can not be used to brush and moisturize the gypsum products. Because when the sodium silicate react with the gypsum, calcium sulphate(Na2SiO4)  will be generated. The calcium sulphate will crystallize and become inflating in the materials′ pole, so the gypsum products resulting in cracking and destroied.
