Different modulus of Sodium Silicate

Different modulus of sodium silicate has different properties, usage and name. There are several common kinds, including instant sodium silicate powder, sodium metasilicate and layered sodium silicate etc. instant sodium powder and soluble sodium silicate are amorphous sodium silicate among them, but layered sodium silicate and sodium metasilicate belong to crystalline sodium silicate.

Different forms decide the different usage. Instant sodium silicate powder's process is that the amorphous soluble sodium silicate which modulus between 2.1—3.4, is made by quick dehydration from drying spray, and then the structure of appearance was change, in order to dissolve in water easily when used.
